On April 14 this year, Enen, a 2-year-old boy in New Taipei City, was diagnosed with a fever due to COVID-19. Enen's mother called the New Taipei City Government Fire Department for help, but the ambulance arrived 81 minutes later.

Enen’s father asked for the release of the recording file in early June, and the media criticized and questioned it. In response, the Taiwan New Deal Association released a poll on the Enen incident. More than 64% of New Taipei City residents aged 20 thought that the Enen incident had delayed medical treatment, and 44.1% were dissatisfied with Hou Youyi's handling of the incident.
This poll mainly reflects changes in New Taipei residents' attitude towards Hou Youyi and the New Taipei City Government, political effects and political party support. Different from other poll samples from all over the country, this kind of aggregated and diluted sampling actually has its reliability and validity limitations, and the result of "Hou Friendship is unscathed" is bound to be biased. The poll is only conducted on New Taipei residents over the age of 20, hoping to measure the latest local public opinion trends.
